11 is a hefty number.. Hopefully. Looking at the tickets available.. looks like paying crowd will be sparse.. Saturdays looks much better. Hopefully the students show up and we don't lay an egg!

I think we'll find a Qb transfer after the spring, when more guys start heading into the transfer portal. I don't know if we have any interest in Jared Bernhardt, the Maryland lax player who wants to play quarterback. Pat Spencer did it in basketball and is playing well at Northwestern. But that's different. You can practice basketball in an empty gym and he also played in the summer leagues. He's a tremendous athlete. So is Bernhardt but without playing in a spring, it's going to difficult. And do you give a full scholarship to player who hasn't played since HS? I'd still be patient with an FBS transfer. If not, go the juco route. Nothing against Stover or Miller, but they HAVE to get a QB. It's a must. I love the RB addition but he's still just a freshman. I think we need to stay with a dual-threat QB, run some RPO and maybe even use Shane or Kobe in the slot. We have the weapons though I'd still like one more burner at WR to replace Leatherbury.
