I was creeping on the Hofstra blogs to see what they had to say about the game. "Offensively, you cannot win games when you don't move the ball and don't move people, and when you're not shooting lights out and when you don't have guys who can score enough on their own. Towson plays together. They're a pleasure to watch. HU looks like its struggles for everything it gets. Way too much 1-on-1." Can't say I've seen that written about a TU team in a long time.

I dont think that message is for idiots like us who follow every move. It's for the more casual person they're trying to convernt into idiots like us.

Free Throw Shooting always comes into play down the stretch and into the conference tournament… AR 81% Gibby 88% NT 80% Nolan 64% (less attempts) Gray 86% (7-7 last night) CT 56% (only 59 attempts on the season) Paar 66% Hicks 66% Cam 69% (Bane mask*) We kinda know who we want in the game at the very late stages then if possible. 7 1/2 yet to play.. I still think Gibby has 2-3 more lights out from 3 🍛 like games left and yes he plays better with Nolan but remember he had 22 against William & Mary without Terry on the floor. Plenty of time to get Nolan back and into a groove and get that god damn Stark Industries Mask in the mail. What is the tracking number Pat??? 17-6 and I’m truly loving every moment of this ride as a long suffering Towson alum. Damas speaking to the team Wed night only adds to our special season. We are due 🕺

Don't want to take us to negative town because I feel good about this team, the way they are playing, and the matchup. However, I can't help but have bad flashbacks to our last really good team in 2013-14 losing to a 0-10 UNC-Wilmington game. I am pretty sure we won't take this one lightly, but I only bring this up because I think we can win the regular-season title this year and we only have room for maybe 2-3 more losses (obviously one is fairly likely with the continued Delaware game) if we want to do so. Let's avoid silly losses to teams we should beat. We all know Bill Coen is a great coach, but they are 0-11 and we need to take care of business. Let's not have this happen. https://towsontigers.com/news/2014/2/11/Tigers_Have_Four_Game_Win_Streak_Snapped_at_UNCW.aspx

Actual praise from someone on the Hofstra board? That's also a first. For those that remember the old America East boards in the early 2000s, those people were relentless in beating us down (in typical NY arrogant fashion). In some ways, our play deserved ridicule because we were pretty terrible but those idiots fans were adamant about kicking us out of the conference. So any time we can beat them, and especially sweep them, it's a little extra special.

Pretty good effort by a team playing for 2nd and going into a house of horrors. 8 true road wins this season and another situation where a previous team would have folded up the tents after Hofstra made that run at the beginning of the 2nd half. Hopefully Nolan will be back real soon and Cam can either fully heal or get a more comfortable mask. In the meantime, Hicks stepped up again and gave solid minutes and it seemed like these guys really needed those days off. That first half they seemed incredibly fresh and they got back to moving the ball on offense the way they had been doing. Now let's take care of the bottom feeder in Boston on Saturday and keep this bus rolling.

21 assists on 25 buckets; 5 guys with 3 or more assists. Unreal. I wasn’t optimistic going into this one, but glad I was wrong. UNCW lost tonight, so rumors of their coronation may have been premature. The emergence of CT as a scoring threat is a great story. And hats off to Timberlake for stepping up his offensive game this season as well

Great team effort. Cam off night scoring. Timberlake and Thompson carried us tonight!

A candid, but somewhat bleak, assessment. Might be easier to list the positions we don’t need help at. As I’ve mentioned before, the fact that RA is potentially a lame duck would seem to be a drag on getting good freshman recruits, so instead he has to go for 1 year stopgaps. I think we’re at a point (actually I think we’re past the point) where the expiration date on RA’s milk carton has expired and a fresh carton, er coach, would be for the best

To those who care, this was an underwhelming late signing class as most of the freshmen were preferred walk-on types. The early signing class did bring one outstanding potential lineman in Joden Nelson and maybe a future QB in Rishon Holmes. We desperately need more help at linebacker, especially at inside backer with Darius Reynolds and Christian Dixon gone. We need a corner or two With Collins and Shuman gone. We need two offensive tackles (Garnett, Gilmore and Bryant gone) and an FBS running back (Jerry Howard gone) or FCS experienced back with speed. I think we have a solid big back with Sabias Folley returning. Could also use another QB since TJ3 has had injury issues.
