Agreed. Until he’s out there on November 11th, who knows haha. But this team, as of now, is built to win the CAA regular and tournament. It’s NCAA or bust. No more excuses or moral victories.

I stand by what I said. I got things that I have debated posting for a couple of weeks off of my chest. I even debated whether I should hit the submit reply button yesterday. My angst is entirely directed at the Towson University administration. There is no ill will towards Coach Harper whom I am told is a very nice person. I wish the womens' basketball program the best of luck. I will be rooting for them. Go Tigers

Agreed. If the roster stays as presently configured, the pressure should be on Skerry to finally break through & get to the dance

I’m glad he’s (apparently) coming back. At this point though, I won’t officially believe he’s back until fall semester starts. At that point, it would be too late for him to transfer to another school. Who knows, maybe he’ll tweet tomorrow he’s turning pro & is going to play overseas. I can only imagine what other CAA message boards are doing with this-1st probably happy he was leaving; now probably disappointed he’s staying. IF he does come back, you can’t help but liking our prospects. We’ll be a bit small, in terms of the starting front court, but hopefully between Paar, Coleman and Bieku (sorry for misspelling his name-I can never remember the right spelling) we can get some serviceable minutes. Besides, Sylla & Russell will help on the boards. I’m also intrigued by the 2 incoming freshmen, and wouldn’t necessarily sleep on either of them, although minutes might be tough for them to come by, unless one or both force Skerry’s hand by impressing during the preseason. It’ll be interesting to see how proficient we’ll be shooting the 3. Timberlake & Gibson are known commodities, but what about anybody else? Conway maybe? Russell was ok from 3 last season at SEMO. Cam wasn’t particularly effective from behind the arc, as I recall.

I’m glad he is back too. Next season is looking great, can’t wait.

So elated he is returning. You and I along with many others didn’t grow up with social media and all the madness associated with Covid etc. Not making excuses but he is still a young man and emotions come into play. We have incredible access to all athletes these days. It is exciting as a fan but also can be mentally draining to our Towson athletes. Cam is a special player and he is gonna get us to the Big Dance. Can’t wait to meet all of you guys in person finally.

So now that Cam is back (again), let's look at the roster and rotation PG Conway, Hicks SG Timberlake, Gibson, Williamson SF Holden, Russell PF Sylla, Coleman/May C Thompson, Biekeu/Parr I can see Russell and Gibson playing the most off the bench. We don't have backup 4 like Gray last season, who could defend and play multiple positions. That's where Cam can also play the 4 when Sylla sits. It will be interesting to see how Cam fits on the wing. He can play the position, no doubt, as a kind of Draymond Greenish-type who can run the offense and take pressure off of Conway as a secondary ballhandler. I'd like to him with an improved 3-point shot and left hand to help him get to the basket. The addition of Russell is now the last pickup from the portal.
