The ladies just clinched the regular season title and the #1 seed in the tournament. Congratulations ladies. Looks like a small possibility of cracking the top 25.

Rob should be gone. No debate there. Skerry despite my criticisms, has done a good job bringing the program to some sort of relevance now. Even if not making the ncaa tourney this year I just can’t see him being terminated unless there is a total meltdown this year and the following..

So, we are 3-0 and I think the rotation still needs to be cleaned up. Hicks was much better in his hometown with 3 assists and no turnovers. It would be nice if he could make a 3 every now and then. But as long he takes care of the ball and plays D, it's fine. Was a little worried about Jason Gibson's back after that play where he dove on the floor and started holding his back. He had a solid game with 11 points in 25 minutes. Would be nice if they can get more from Sekou Sylla who isn't stretching the defense with his shooting and then is struggling to score against bigger players. We can be super critical about everything but I'll take 3-0 for a team that hasn't really played a complete game yet on both ends. That I'm not worried about. Would still like to see a Conway or a May for a few minutes. This is a good basketball team and now many of us are expecting greatness. Just want to cut the nets down in March. Might need to be great to get there.

A big win over Hampton and Rob keeps his job! This administration loves to make ridiculous decisions like banning tailgating so it would be par for the course for them to re-sign ambrose. It should be the end of an era but I’m not convinced they will fire his ass

I’ll give credit when it’s due. This football season was bad. We played awful teams and won. Greet. You can count the big wins for both on a Jason Pierre Paul hand. We do beat the teams we should.

I believe this is a crossroads season for Skerry. With the preseason predictions of winning the conference + 3 players chosen as preseason 1st-team all-conference, anything less than going dancing will be seen by some (maybe many) as a failure. However, as you point out, Skerry is insulated from being on the same hot seat as Ambrose, by virtue of that insane contract extension he was given.

It’s not personal and it sure isn’t a quantitative conversation. It’s very qualitative. I like what Rob has done for the school along with the community and same goes for Pat. But I want the same as everyone else. I want to turn on ESPN during the FCS playoffs and see Towson there. I want to watch the opening weekend of the NCAA tournament and see Towson there just like you all do. My opinion may not be the same as everyone else’s but I believe Skerry can get us there. I no longer believe Rob can.

1st two posts, after Mat’s initial post, specifically read that credit was due the team. After that, subsequent posts pointed out an undeniable fact-we’ve lost to every good team we’ve played this season, and defeated every bad team we’ve played. It’s unfortunate we haven’t been able to play 10 bad teams. Otherwise, we might be 10-0. When you’re .500, and have lost to every good team on the schedule, while beating every bad team, that, if I’m not mistaken, is the quintessential definition of mediocrity. Mediocre doesn’t mean you’re lousy, it means you’re “meh.” We’ve been “meh,” or worse, every season since 2013. It’s time for a regime change. We shouldn’t settle or be satisfied with a ceiling that’s “meh.” Enough!!
