I supplement my following Towson by fading them while betting. If they are going to disappoint me might as well make a few bucks doing it. Can we go back to the start of the season when we "thought" we were good? Reality is becoming a bitch.

You touched on a point I neglected to mention in my first post. It’s not so much that we appear to be a mediocre team, it’s all the preseason hype which I’m sure many of us bought into that makes this even more of a bitter pill. 3 preseason 1st team all conference players; ranked #71 in the country by cbssports.com; highly ranked in mid-major polls; tabbed as a potential bracket buster during March madness. And this is what we get? Really? Wow 😮

Yikes.. Dont even want to look ahead to next year. Announcers hit the nail on the head. Towson and Bryant are similar... But Towson is a buncha 4 and 5 years guys.. Bryant a much younger team with room to grow. We're seeing how critical Gibson is to our game. Sylla missed what seemed like 10 shots from within 5 feet. Just get CT going again... Inside outside. Timberlake has the body language of a freshman. Highly concerning - but well documented on the board.

Not at all. We can disagree on topics but we are bonded by Towson so always respect at the end of the day.

Same, They either win and I’m happy or lose but I win some money. Paper tigers as always. As bad as this year is going to finish… next year is going to be worse.

Good win? Campbell is 3-7 in D1 games. Just be consistent.

The free-throw shooting bothers me the most. I spoke with Cam over the summer and it was the first thing he brought up. I didn't even bring that part of his game up and last season, he shot 70% from the line. This year, it's around 62%. His entire game is about getting to the basket and drawing fouls if he can't make the shots. He's not even making easy shots in the lane. Not talking about tough hook shot. Short 5-7 foot jumpers that he needed to hit in the lane against their zone. We are desperate for a Gibson return in more ways than one, but I think we'll be playing without him for another week or longer. Only positive was our three-point defense (7 of 26), but then we gave up about 50 layups in the first half. Still, allowing 42% from the field and 27% from beyond the arc on the road is not that bad. You should win with that but it looked as though some of guards (esp. Conway) never saw a pressure defense in their lives.

The mind numbing thing is reconciling ourselves to the fact that we have to suffer through this dreck for at least another 3 seasons after this one
