Ok so we do agree on basically everything this time…. That wasn’t the only drive with questionable play calling. Have an all American TE and he was on the sideline most third downs in the first half Im not saying they weren’t injured, but with that little time left, shouldn’t they have to use a TO? Especially with clock actively running?

Penalties and mental miscues happen for Towson Athletics at what seems to be the worst time, when the games on the line. I agree with you, this is on the coaching. How many 3rd down and 1-2 yards did we try and throw a deep pass on? Atleast 3. That’s fine if you are going to go for it in 4th down, but we didn’t. Settling for all those fg attempts with let’s face it, a pedestrian kicker, isn’t going to win games. For shinick being an “offensive” guru coach, it seems like our defense does more than this air raid offense. Nova is 5th ranked but it’s 2024 and this level of this sport is watered down But some will post here about it being a moral victory and the coach is new. Rinse wash repeat. Just a brutal way to lose

Awful play calling, bad times penalties, and easy dropped balls by WRs are why they lost. Yes the kicker was awful, but it shouldn’t have come to that. Defense played well and bent a lot but never really broke against a good team. The backup qb was good, and threw some great passes. Dude has played in like 3 games in 5 years and more than held is own. Do we even have an offensive coordinator? If so he should have a pink slip awaiting on auburn drive in 2.5 hours. The play calling was questionable at best. That was an extremely long game and those refs were not good. There should have been a few more flags on us. But their guys hitting the turf late and clock stopping…? Heck of a fight but another year eliminated from payoffs. 6 years and counting & 11 years since the last victory.

Is it me or does Nova feel like they constantly go in a 4 year stretch of; Meh (4-7), Solid (7-4), Good (8-3), Win league and make it fairly deep in playoffs (9-2)??

Crazy that tigers have only played nova 18 times. Small crowd, not into the game, our guys should feel at home! Nvm that’s not a good thing. Anyone who’s been a game on the main line knows it’s more like a high school crowd than college. Lounge if you think four tailgating is strict…

Ahh the old 4 Saturday home vs 5 Saturday away... Only 1 split travel week and its NE of course. Probably a 9 PM Thursday TV game and a 10 AM tip on the ice rink Saturday... In all seriousness, it's good that we get the Carolina road trip out of the way early. Hopefully we can sneak a win in there. The 4 toughest road venus are the first 4 road games..

Their last 5 games against an FCS team had an average margin of victory of 46.5. Enjoy some Skyline and get out of the "Other" Queen City alive and not show any of our playbook on film. We will need that for the big week two matchup for Greater Baltimore County Battle!
