It’s a lot more than 12 fans. They had a good student section back in the day when they weren’t good and we certainly weren’t either. I don’t know about the other two but they obviously do as they have fired coaches mid season before.. that’s not cheap to do. They have the benefit of it being their sport. No football to mess with. Bigger problem is the caa. Vcu mason odu ncaa money has dried up. Only getting 1 unit each year hurts. Looking at a 14-15 this year doesn’t help. Lack of tv deal hurts too. It’s been downhill since Yeager left (shocking to say that!)

Yeah. He did something similar to that earlier in the game. Seems to keep things lighthearted which is the opposite of pat. Give him some height and some shooting, with their fan base. Could be a dangerous combo for the rest of the caa

That's true. Hofstra has some young kids who are bad too. Would be nice to have an ex-player on the call with him. Maybe JD for games he isnt doing the "Flo Feed"? I'm just happy we could beat the "hottest team in the CAA" with our "once in a blue moon shooting, pulling 3's out of our ass," along with "help from the refs all game" 😁

This one was U_G_L_Y! Glad they came out with the win, showed resolve. But you could tell in warmups that they weren't into this game and it showed. UNCW plays hard for their new coach (who seems like an awesome guy and the ultimate players coach). Loved how they had a set play to start the game, screen for the alley oop. Felt like we played hard in stretches and not in others. Against a good team, this is a bad recipe. Defense needs to improve and they need to through the kitchen sink at Riller tomorrow. FT shooting and defense were big let downs. Glad we crashed the boards against a smaller team. Can someone explain why we have Fobbs on the opposite side on the press?? Whenever he breaks it he going right and cant finish right...? Crowd was pretty big and semi into it. Kudos to marketing. Both gates were open and all 3 concession stands. BIG game tomorrow. Need everyone to come out!

11 is a hefty number.. Hopefully. Looking at the tickets available.. looks like paying crowd will be sparse.. Saturdays looks much better. Hopefully the students show up and we don't lay an egg!

I think all caa teams are doing this. Would help with tourney tickets because people who lose and want to ditch theirs will have a market this year because the stadium is so small

Uncw has winning pedigree and doesn’t accept losing as seen with the kid season firing. Neither do their fans. They could be 3-0 since the change against the same 3 that spanked us. Won two by 2 and lost by 2. They will be a tough out Thursday
