MBB falls to Charleston in Semifinals 77-72

lol that is a joke account. Someones mom at Charleston. That was a weird exchange. Again people on here will kiss and defends pats ass and the players. we all know if 2012-2015 Pat was coaching now he would be fired within a minute. The things that came out of his moth back then were horrific. In todays victim culture he would have been (justifiably so) Canned -

You cancel one day into your last month and it goes to end of the month. For future reference -

Loss is a loss. Blown lead is a blown lead. Put a bow on it. Sugar coat it. We have made next to no progress and have the second longest tenured coach. In league. He also has to lead the NCAA longest tenure with 0 trips to the tourney. . -

Same old same old. Still haven’t played for a championship. Still haven’t won a big game. Awful start to second half. Nice finish. Choke job with the lead at the end. Not surprising. 4-11 for skerry. Dude a is a wet hen And looks sick when lights are bright no wonder why the players choke too. next year could be 1-31 level. Keep bringing back same coach and players and expect different results. 12 years. .500 record. The oldies on here (most) and 2024 will want a parade. Rinse wash repeat. -
Exactly The refs don’t care but the league whispering in their ears do
-
I mean we would take a caa finals game against anyone but the fact that it’s uncw awaiting, makes this one even more enticing.
-
With Hofstra out, refs gonna be cougar happy more so than usual
-
Pride don’t play defense. Better than years past but still
-
Pete Gillian on the call tonight? 🤮. I’d even rather spiro than him..
-
Saved in my drafts folder. As 88 says in the above post, it’s now or never
-
It is. They will have a great crowd there tonight too. Top 4 teams in the league on national tv. Hopefully we get some good games!
-
Started bad in the first game and ended bad the last game. The middle 30 minutes of each game we were the better team. The focus and energy last night early, from everyone, including the end of the bench was phenomenal. Putting that together in back to back games is a rarity around here. Pressures on the cougars. Probably for the first time since their Hofstra game. I think cbssn had some stat that there like 12-2 or something absurd when trailing at thr half
-
I think Hofstra wins by 12+. And Charleston around 8/9

Pressure is all on Charleston. This is the last hurdle that they need to clear, in their minds, to make the tourney. Use that against them. Scott is a great defender and won’t get burnt like he did last game by Nick. Their bigs have length and that’s gonna disrupt Charles. The guys defending by Larson and more so smith, need to go at them. Can’t afford to pick up dumb fouled. Can’t afford to lose our cool. Cougars are going to make some big runs, we need to slow those. Last week once it got rolling down hill, it was over in a blink of an eye. They are that good going on runs and came at you in waves since they go 9 deep. Make the extra pass again, and grab every rebound. We did a great job of that last night. Nick hicks and russell hitting the defensive boards last night was huge The league, media, Hofstra all want Charleston, carry a chip on our shoulders tonight and try and make history

MBB blasts Delaware 86-60 in CAAT to move to semifinals

If we think we are as tough as we do, time to lunch the bully in the mouth the tomorrow. Have been out toughed And coached both times this year. Time to take it to the media darlings -
Ew. They should get better quickly or if not move this down to club level!
-
Lol. Draft kings. That’s a huge line
-
Does a noon game played outside need electricity?! Don’t get lacrosse or the appeal but really don’t get why this was postponed …🤣
-
Hens behind two absolute studs, and experience, get some rest tonight, against a nervous tiger team. We’ve been the better seed before and lost, but never against a team this good and this hot. Going to need the best effort and execution of the skerry era to sneak one out tomorrow night.
-
Congrats. Hell of a first season
-
Realist and base of facts. There’s too much history and numbers to back it up. Hope I’m wrong though Lol. Prove me wrong! Will love to be incorrect for once in my life! 😅

Chalk Athletic Association. (Outside of whoever upsets towson)
-
Placing this year due to current traffic and since hoops will be in for a major step back next year. Is this Towson’s best year ever in regards to wins? Volleyball was dominant and set program record for winds. Women’s soccer had its best year since moving to the caa. Football was even 6-5 somehow. Field hockey won a few more games than they usually do. Gymnastics was really good and swimming and diving seemed to have a solid record. Both hoops teams are going to approach the 20-12 record. with that said coming into the weakest season… spring. Men’s lacrosse and baseball will struggle once again. Women’s lacrosse looks ok and softball is 4-4 (they won 14 total last year). I don’t have the time to look back on numerous years but would have to think that this is one of our best overall win loss percents ever.

Haha fair. He did also see two really good offensive players go 1-17 on a majority WIDE, WIDE open shots that afternoon.
