Don’t disagree. Our coaches all do a great job with the guys and girls (at least what we see). They do a lot in the community and that is all great. Were some suspect players brought in? Sure. Do all schools have those? Sure. You can do both, win and mentor young people.

Everyone here wants us to succeed. If you put a poll up it would 100-0.%. But if you put a poll “is rob still the right person for the job?” You would get 50-50 results. He had more than enough time, even after frisco, which we didn’t capitalize on, but there are still some who thought he would get the job done. Other fans have to ask how you think that’s possible?!

I think we all understand that. That’s our hope that coaches leave us shortly after they and we find success. Jmu football was a stepping stone. Uncw hoops is a stepping stone. Their fans are happy with that because they win consistently

Exactly. Being one of the more vocal on here, the only chance we had at change was not making the playoffs this year. Wish we had enough money to cut him loose last year. Band aid transfers, going year to year with a lame duck coach is no way to build a program. I loved Robs energy when he was first hired. It was contagious around campus. We had a few really good players for a stretch and an all world one. Made the championship but after that it was all down hill. He got stale, as do many coaches just hanging around. Got to give him and the players credit for continuing to fight at the end. I know first hand that everyone including PK himself gave up that last year (assuming he tried at all). A new voice was needed and hopefully we have someone good coming in soon, who can take us where all tiger fans want to be.

Looking at the caa schedule we have the toughest schedule of all the “big 5” teams. To compound that we have Hofstra and Charleston as day games with students on break. One in New Year’s Eve… the other at noon on MLK Day

We can be really good. It was there in the past and we have shown very brief signs of it. The schedule is solid and should allow us to work on things. Road games are tough but we are playing likewise opponents. Last year we seemed to blow a lot out and coast a bit. This year every game has been a struggle and close. Which hopefully helps in the long run because the other top 4-5 teams in the caa are also pretty damn good. The defense has played well and will need to continue.

4 games in and it’s clear, this isn’t last year. We won’t blow many teams out. It’s gonna be a slow grind. Thankfully uncg took the foot off the pedal in the second half. I’ll happily call out 25 as a d2 player in the chat if it means he goes off and scores 25. we haven’t played good this year so far and have 4 wins. The defense was pretty good but the offense and rebounding were atrocious
