3down conversions was horrendous this year. Nearly at the top of my list of complaints, second only to QB play. I remember talking to Ed at halftime of Albany saying they might as well kneel on 1st and 2nd down because they convert 3rd down regardless of distance needed.

Welp. The only thing going for us is that the football team at JMU is the only program in their athletic department completely non effected by the move to the Sun Belt.

I'm not happy, most of the time, because I don't see the team putting in the effort and standards that I and my team mates did. Whether that is possible, I do not know. I also don't like passing the ball 100 times a game. I have never said transfer players, from FBS or anywhere else, is the way to go. Unhappy players from better schools RARELY find greener grass where ever they land. There are a few exceptions, but they are few and far between. I would love to see much younger and experienced players take their lumps and build on that the next year. That's how greatness is forged. Not with a bunch of used to be's barely wanting to be where they are in the first place. Get?

First time I saw us play, vs NDSU, I was not pleased with the QB play. Either of them. I'm happy to see the young kid getting a chance, now. HOPEFULLY, he's given a long long rope. At this point, wins and losses don't matter. It's his job, until the end of Spring ball to lose. One thing is for certain, this Amendola kid is light years ahead of Godfathers quitter.

Its not going to effect football. Purple is going to make the post season, whether they lose the last game or not. Only question would be do they phave to play another conference in the first round or a CAA team since they are no longer "same conference". Which in our case, would mean us, again, should WE win our last game. JMU has made it clear, this is a rule they stand behind, so F 'em. All sports not football, are meaningless to JMU, this move makes that loud and clear.

I hate to do this, but I'm agreeing with TU12. We flew to Orono my RS-soph year in early NOV. A huge storm delayed us for hours connecting from Boston. We showed up @ 10:30-11pm. Had an ice cold sweats practice under the lights. And well, my memories of the game were not cold enough for it to snow, but cold enough to freeze the top 1/8" of mud. It was crispy chasing after the still NCAA record of interceptions thrown in a single game. Fun, fun, fun!!!

If attendence were an issue, we'd have dropped the program my redshirt freshman year. I know you wish you could have been alive then.

I could be wrong but haven't Richmond and W&M been in the SoCon before? The only thing that's surprising is W&M still not trying to get into the PL. As far as I'm concerned Elon can go F themselves. Other than Elon and W&M as all sports members, who cares? I mean this is the football page, there will always be an auto bid conference to play football in. Call it CAA, A-10 or Yankee.
