Randy Bennett gonna retire likely after this the 25-26’ season so they could really dip as well. Zags unlike other Mid Majors have been smart to stick around and continue to make dance every year.

Stoudemire really suckered Georgia Tech after his stint with the Celtics. He was awful in Stockton. And Romar bouncing back for a his second stint was another poor decision. WCC is the Zags & Gaels first tier then USF and Santa Clara second tier and then the rest is all 4th tier. BYU left. The conference is bad right now.

One takeaway from the radio broadcast and spoke volumes to me…. Coach said he wants teams that play Towson to walk away saying “that was a battle mentally and physically” I’m paraphrasing but you get the gist of it. I as a sports fan love seeing players play with emotion etc. That being said sometimes all that emotion being expressed can wipe out a team’s energy etc. I can handle to an extent physical mistakes but the mental mistakes of stepping out of bounds etc drive me nuts. As a fanbase we are all mentally drained from this Jekyl & Hyde famedom we’ve been living for decades. Listening today Spiro made the point that PS won 18 games while losing 75% of his scoring from last season and 2 starters this season in Watson & Hicks. Mind you there is a transfer portal now Sprio and every college is in the same boat. Win or lose in DC.. Skerry is not going anywhere it sounds.

Jimmy has a world of knowledge but comes off as a jabber jaw. Chuck Lightning was perfect. Spiro solo still does an excellent job despite all the technical difficulties in broadcasts through the years. We will miss Spiro when he retires but let’s not hope soon.

Maybe this is just hearsay but I was told that International Players have a cap on the amount of NIL money they can receive and hence would be a better pursuit for mid major schools that lack funds.. again don’t know if this is indeed fact. What I do know is we are gonna sink or swim in the next few seasons depending on what NIL funds we come up with. The University of San Francisco has a ton of NIL support and hence have landed Mongo Mike and Johnathan Mogbo simply by outbidding other mid majors and more importantly providing housing for family members.

Just watched.. I appreciate his efforts but no one cares we’ve won 18 games or more 9 of the past 11 seasons if we win tomorrow night. Sustainability of a program is great if you know bigger things are ahead but we don’t know that. Have some nice parts but nothing indicates we will win the CAA anytime soon.

Quannas White is the associate head coach for Houston but has zero chance of taking over the program down the line cause of Kelvin Sampson’s son Kellen who is the heir apparent. Quannas played 2 years at JC Midland before going to Oklahoma. Played some ball in the CBA. Louisiana native. Interesting candidate for a future head coaching chance at a Mid Major.

Seeing what Kyle Smith has done with Washington State.. a school mind you left in the dust with respect to NIL funds and which is now demoted to the West Coast Conference the next 2 years.. Smith is gonna land the Ohio State job (Cleveland native) He built the Aussie pipeline at Saint Mary’s and then single-handedly brought USF back to relevance. If I’m a program in the mix for a new coach and direction then I’m trying to pluck away one of his assistants. They just beat Arizona for the second time and have a shot to win the Pac12 for the first time since the 40’s. Crazy.
