I agree but if Towson was headed to the NIT I would be thrilled. Other than the NIT and NCAA's I see it as pointless. -

I wouldn't call the NIT meaningless. Best case Scenario for our conference I feel like is Northeastern winning the game tonight to head to the NCAA's which sends Hofstra to the NIT -
Upside is we wont have to necessarily outright WIN the CAA tourney to make it to the NCAA's

Atleast we will return like 95% of our offense output and we all know this is a key off szn post the Zane and Justin departures. Next year I dont think any of us will be in the mood for excuses.

I'd rather have the #1 lax team in the nation and a mediocre basketball team than a terrible lax team and a mediocre basketball team lol. But yes full heartedly agree we need basketball to put us in the forefront.

I think we all agree Skerry has been a GOOD thing for Towson. Fans are just ready for the next phase of development in the program. From the middle, average team we are at now. Will we catapult over the next few years? Or plateau? or regress back into old Towson ball.
