  1. LIU looked completely winded in the final 10 minutes. Delaware just started running in transition and taking it straight to the hoop with no defenders getting back to stop the dribble. I think Terry Nolan should have a great game against LIU with his quickness in transition. Delaware looked talented but struggled to rebound. I think we can go toe to toe with them chickens

  2. Seems like he was shown the door abruptly. Did they consider he lost his starting quarterback during the year? Maybe that's why they underperformed expectations? I think Rocco will land on his feet at another school. Gotta hope coach O doesn't come from the bayou to the blue chicken Bay.

  3. Good to see Nick Timby have a night on national TV. We were just saying how bad a mid range shooter he is the night before and then get goes off and catches fire in this game. I think this is the best early tournament we have had in the skerry era lots of positives coming out of Vegas. We fought hard and earned respect. But still a few things can be improved: press break, stallball, wide open lay ups. Excited to see how we complete against the rest of the CAA this is a fun team to watch

  4. You gotta give credit the team fought hard til the end against an undefeated team. Our backups got some good experience and will hopefully grow up faster playing in this type of tournament. Loved seeing the towson tiger logo on live TV. Gotta be happy with the amount of free throws made and trips to the line. If only some of those gimme lay ups went in during the first half it could have been even closer. I liked the heart, grit, balls, but we still lack the brains at times lol stupid mistakes, bad looks, same ol song and dance. Wish we had all our guys but we'll see what the team has still in the tank tonight

  5. Glad to see Hicks shine in his first start. He Has a lot of confidence for a freshman. Jason Gibson and Antonio Rizzuto have some serious competition at point guard. I liked him running the offense, but hope gibby and tone can get healthy and they all can contribute. I though Parr had his best game as a tiger as well. Worried about our depth going into the tough games in the Vegas trip. Could be a good experience for younger guys to play in big matchups. Pleased with the win today. Hope for continued success moving forward

Looks like today is Penn’s 6th came in a span of 10 days. We have a few days of rest coming into today's matinee contest. I'm thinking our fresh legs might be the difference maker in this close matchup. The line is 1.5 I'm thinking the tigers can cover!

  8. I was confused by the 2PM start time as well. I guess thanksgiving break makes sense, but I remember staying til Wednesday before going home. I guess the New Yorkers left Tuesday to beat the traffic. I can’t imagine there will be many in attendance but I’m not complaining. Watching the game will give me something to do at work! I alway stereotype the Ivy League teams as smart but soft. I hope we go out their and bully them around with our towson toughness

  9. The snapping Terrapin terps are afraid to come here and get embarrassed just like they did last night to George Mason. Bring in Penn State maybe. They have a big md following. May not be worth it to bring in a Gonzaga, Duke, Kansas, but a big name draw like the Georgetown Hoyas

  10. I think it’s fair to say we are a second half team. I am so far impressed by this group offensively. Most Skerry teams have been hard to watch on offense but this team has some scorers which is refreshing. Gotta hope Chase Parr finds his groove. Big body down low, but needs to learn to play the towson tough skerry ball style of play bullying the other team around. Gibson is a spark plug for the offense and he’s automatic from the charity stripe! I can see why all of Baltimore loves Terry Nolan Jr. he gets big dunks and loves to hype the squad up! Rizzuto has been average so far hopefully he heals and improves. Cam Holden has been a great two way player so far. Timberlake is having a good year so far, love seeing that Boston bounce attacking the rim. Charles Thompson is a glue guy, gotta love his energy. Reminds me of a young Timaj Parker-Rivera. Happy to see some good crowds at the game. Excited to see if we can pack SECU for some of the bigger conference games
