TSU88 1,068 Report post Posted March 28, 2019 Here’s a bit of perspective on Gibson: Patterson HS in Baltimore City won the city title & State championship this past season. In late December of last year, Gibson dropped 32 points on Patterson in a tournament called the Governor’s Challenge. Not to mention that Gibson dropped 20+ in the DC HS title game, against a Wilson team with 2 kids on the team committed to MD. I’m drinking the kool aid at this point. If it turns out I’m wrong, so be it. But after the last 2 seasons, we need something to get excited about. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

mat1992 2,228 Report post Posted March 28, 2019 That Wilson game was played in the same place the CAA title game and Towson is headed there in the regular season. The new Mystics Arena. Gibson had 24 points though the highlights show most of his misses. I thought he tried to force it a bit inside against the 6-9 Mitchell twins. That was a good test for what he'll see in college. Need to use more of a floater or dish it out to an open shooter. I noticed he was doing that late in the game and found open guys.
