Still way too many sloppy turnovers and the Hofstra goalie played really well. Fortunately, our defense woke up in the 2nd half and kept Hofstra at bay for most of the final 30 minutes. Given that this has been a season-long problem, I've come to the conclusion that too many of our players just aren't fundamentally sound. mat1992 2,231 Report post Posted March 30, 2019 Fundamentals and Lax IQ has been an issue for years. Not sure what Woodall was doing late in the game when all we needed was possession and to just get rid of the ball and get off the field. Nads admitted he should have taken a TO there. Sunday made some horrific passes including one when we were just trying to stall. Our passing has gone down the toilet lately. We can't get an transition going because of poor passes or dropped passes. Is that poor recruiting on the offensive end. Sure, at least McLean came back with a nice game with three goals. Fromert played about 60% of the game as he was dealing with being sick and same thing with Jake McLean. I though Greg Ey stepped up and he may not leave that role on first midfield.
