CAA Football Media Day thread

Hopefully they use the embarrassment of getting blown out the last two games, 69-27 at home!, of last year as motivation.  The offense and special teams should still be good, but as always the defense is the concern. 10th in points allowed 28.8/game, Dead last in yards allowed, 390/game, and 11th in Turnovers with just 16.  If the defense can just get a little more aggressive and force a few more turnovers it will put tons of pressure on other teams.

This years schedule is extremely tough. If you take out Bucknell, this years opponents were a combined 71-50 last year.  We also play (some polls) @#1, @#4, H#12, @#19, H#24, H#25 and also @ FBS #8.  That coupled with long road trips to Charleston, Maine, & Florida, makes for a very difficult year.

Reality, whole different team from 2018! Added skill position players and bigger, stronger , deeper OL.  OL will average over 315lbs. I hope everyone understands that the defense played with only 1scholarship interior DL and just two additional walkons.  The D will be much bigger, faster and stronger with the multiple additions of 4 star kids.  Watch out for Topps in the secondary and a (finally healthy) #7.  Also,  think about the new DC and his multiple scheme.  Suppppp

I'll be surprised if TF has the same success as last year. I'm sure DC's are already planning how to stop or slow him.

Logicallywhat would make you think that he would take a step back? As Mat stated, there will be more tweaks to the offense this year as he has more familiarity with the system and his players. Couple that with the addition of impact personnel along the OL and skill positionsand you have an offense that’s close to impossible to stop(if executed properly).thats the beauty of the RPO, the offense always has one extra skill player at the point of attack.
