That would be us. They thrashed our Kurt Beathard/Sean Murphy-led team (which had beat Norfolk State in the first round. (Only eight teams got into the tournament back then. TigerFan54 102 Report post Posted September 18, 2019 Making matters worse is that we had a pass-oriented offense and NDSU operated a run-heavy O behind a terrific QB named Bentrim -- ideal for 20-degree temps.
