This isn't on campus, it's in South Baltimore/Locust Point. I am not sure I've ever seen marketing like this in the neighborhood.

Okay. I stand corrected. Just looked like Cross Campus near the Towers.

As a South Baltimore Tiger, I would love to have a bar to go to for games. Even if they don't call themselves a Towson bar, we should definitely try to meet up somewhere for a game or two this year.

No better time than for Saturdays' game, as it is actually on TV. Look for somewhere with SEC Network.

Hucks in Canton is a UGA bar. Bulldogs are on a bye, and would think they would put on the game hoping Towson can hang with their hated rival.

It looks like Checkerspot Brewing, City Limit’s and Mother’s are the Florida Gator’s bars in Baltimore.

maybe we go there and spoil their fun

Who is in charge of the TU Alumni club? They are slacking if WVU, Penn State, Michigan, Ohio State and the South Carolina Gamecocks all have alumni bars in Baltimore but not us.

not to mention we have nothing in DC....

Usually team bars are out of the actual location where the school is, and with a high alumni base.  So DC, Philly and NYC should definitely have one.  The fine folks at Towson Athletics should have also put together a watch party for the game this upcoming Saturday. Turtle at Towson on the rooftop if its nice? CVP's back patio.  This game is on TV and against an opponent even the less than causal fan knows.  They had 8500+ butts in seats Saturday, would have been nice for them to think of this prior and make a few announcements/ads.

Having followed football attendance the last 10 years I wonder what our Marketing department does for the return on investment. We have averaged 6-9 thousand  a game for 10 years .

Would be nice for the road games to have a Towson Bar stream the game for alumni.

exactly! Lots of us don’t want to make the trip to Towson every Saturday but it would be great for camaraderie to have a dedicated Towson football bar in all the major northeast markets. It seems this team has a big online following that does not show in the attendance numbers.
