It's nuts this year. Any team can beat any team on any given day (save for JMU). W&M beats Elon in 5 OTs. Richmond beats Stony Brook by 20. Maine beats Albany on the road by 16. UNH beats Villanova by 8 at home. Next week: Albany at Delaware; Richmond at Villanova; URI at W&M; Maine at Elon; Towson at SB; UNH at JMU.

JMU       8-1    5-0

UNH      5-3    4-1

Albany    5-4    3-2

Rich.      5-4     4-1

Vill        6-3     3-3

Elon      4-5     3-3

SBrook  5-4     2-3

Del       4-5      2-3

Tow      5-4     2-3

Maine   4-5    2-3

W&M    3-6    1-4

URI      2-7    0-5

It’s JMU and the field.

I’d say Elon, Delaware, Maine, W&M, & URI are the only teams out of the playoff picture. The loser of TU v SB next Saturday can be added to that list.  Albany & Richmond probably don’t have much margin for error. Don’t look now, but Nova has lost 3 in a row

That's what happens when you lose one of the premier running backs in the nation.

The loser of Richmond v Nova next Saturday could be in peril of not making the playoffs. If Nova loses, they have a cupcake game the following week v winless Long Island U, after which they close the season v Delaware. We should also root for JMU to beat UNH next Saturday, and beat them bad. Of course, none of this matters, if we don’t take care of our own business

Will the Nova win over LIU count as a D1 win? That’s the danger of scheduling a program in transition.   They also have wins over the weak PL teams.  Could be a problem for the Cats.

It does. A late add to get to 12 games

Nova can pick their score in that game. Hopefully, it won’t carry much weight with the selection committee, especially if Richmond & Delaware can manage to beat them

Nova, assuming they beat LIU, will need just to win 1 of the other 2. If not, they will be out.
