Wow, what a great game.  18 assists?  Its that a record in the Skerry era?  Outstanding ball movement and rebounding.  Great defense too.  Can we bottle this effort and pull it back out in 2 weeks?

Hold Buie to 6 points.  +24 on the boards.  28-6 points in the paint in the first half.  Big shots from Fobbs and Betrand late when Hofstra was creeping down to 6-7 points.  As Spiro put it, it's the most complete game they've played in forever.  Great timing for it, too, with the tournament on the horizon.

We had 17 assists last game and that wasn't a season-high.

So, where can we finish? What tiebreakers do we have with UD and C of C?  God, I hope we beat NE and finish as the 3 seed (or even 2 seed).

No 2 seed unless a team doesn’t show up in DC. 3 is the best we can do.  win And we are 3 lose and Delaware and Charleston win we could fall to 5. 

Holy shit what a beatdown on the boards 24 on like 39 missed shots?!  They brought the effort tonight against the best starting 5 in league. Our bench killed it tonight especially when you compare it to their “bench”. Wish we didn’t give away the one earlier this year or the Charleston game. Woulda have made Sunday interesting. 

33% from 3 and only 9 ft attempts on the road and still win against a good and hot team?! I’ll take it!

But he still needs to win games in March

Watched it on FloSports (sound muted). Wow, just wow. Helluva team effort. Should be a big confidence boost going into NE on Sunday.

Our big 2 got one big bucket after another, but I thought our bench was superb. Thompson with 7 boards and 6 points, Timberlake with 12 points & 6 boards and I think Dottin played his best game as a Tiger-6 points, 8 boards and 5 assists. 

Buie killed us earlier in the season; tonight our D forced him into a 2-14 shooting performance. We also dominated them on the boards.
 

 

With DE’s L tonight, I believe we’re in sole possession of 3rd place. Let’s bottle tonight and we’ll be in great shape Sunday & in DC

Skerry and staff have done something different.  At the start of conf play we were 340th in the country in assists and played selfish 1 one 1 ball.  This team is really sharing the ball well, better than any other team in recent memory.  Dottin had a great game today....

There may have been a message sent after losing to W&M last Thursday night where all we did was settle for jumpers and try to dribble through everyone.  Skerry said so in his postgame that night.  These guys definitely responded to whatever was said based on those assist stats from these last 2 games.
