Around the CAA

Recommended Posts

CAA off to a slow start So far. Only 2 d 1 wins, us and Charleston. Hofstra yaked up a lead late against ranked Houston without jalen ray.
12+ non d1 games on the docket. Not good for the league at all. Thankfully we don’t play any

Correct. Since Uncw back to back, the caa has been a low major.  This years early results aren’t looking so Hot

Caa had a good night  last night with two of the higher tier teams beating lower level a10 teams. Obviously it’s early but Charleston and drexel both look pretty good. Wm and Uncw look bad while the other 4 programs and ourselves look Jekyll  and Hyde.

our three opponents so far are 2-5 overall

Charleston played UNC tough in front of a packed home crowd. Electric college basketball atmosphere. Would love to see secu rocking like this in the near future

Who do you get? Our options are very limited.

Caroline (numerous times), lsu, Oklahoma state, Michigan state, uva, Stanford, Duke (sort of), nova (sort of) have all visited caa schools in the past 6-8 years.

the best programs that we’ve had in secu since it opened.  Temple, Vermont, mason, Lasalle, odu and soon to be uncg..

The snapping Terrapin terps are afraid to come here and get embarrassed just like they did last night to George Mason. Bring in Penn State maybe. They have a big md following. May not be worth it to bring in a Gonzaga, Duke, Kansas, but a big name draw like the Georgetown Hoyas

What?!!? Keep dreaming on those three

Maryland  and Georgetown don’t play road OOC games typically. Maryland’s first road game this year is January 3rd

Penn state wouldn’t be bad but would need to do a 2 for 1 and that unfortunately is not our current scheduling philosophy
