Yes we have a lot of returning talent and some marginal power teams might be scared to play us but this is a pitiful ooc schedule for a team with big expectations and so much experience

Ok, so home is Albany, Navy, Coppin State. No UMBC or Morgan. They won't play us. Morgan and Loyola want to be paid. That's not our philosophy.

Road: Clemson, UNCG, LIU, Penn. Also Savannah Tournament. Working on a few more with some pretty good teams, but most of the big boys on the East Coast won't play us.

Lineup whoever and we will take them down.
Cupcakes welcomed as I want to see this team go undefeated in the non conference.
“Our time…. mines and yours.. but instead you gonna cry that back in the day bullshit..  there is no back in the day..  it is just our program and the rest of the country..  when it was Truax we were with him and then AD put an end to that..”

All we as a fan base have to be focused is airline tickets to the first round of the NCAA tournament.

The Savannah tournament could help make up  for a very blah non-con slate.  All depends on which teams they put us with.  But teams are so scared to play mids who might be decent and they sure as heck won’t play them at their place.   Loyola and Morgan are just laughable.  They’re insignificant in the overall landscape.

It is frustrating that "most of the big boys on the East Coast won't play us."  I guess the teams that could "afford" to play us, not financially afford, but more so taking a chance of losing to us, and still being a basic lock for the tournament say Villanova, would rather take their open dates and play other ranked teams.  The "bubble" type teams like say Rutgers, those are the type of teams that cannot afford an "L" against the Tigers.  Rutgers losses to Lafayette at home and UMASS last season on the road are probably the reason they were in the First Four.  It would be nice if we could somehow play top teams from high mid-majors but the risk there is just like the CAA you may think a team is going to be good and then they are not.  This is not a true example of what I mean, but I think Albany was supposed to be better than they ended up last season.  Hopefully down the road the New AD can use some of the relationships he built by working in the SEC to try and get a lower SEC school to do a home and home.  The team should bring people to the SECU but besides that what team listed above gets anyone but the hardcore fan to come or even pay attention?

Local teams here all suck. Not worth playing. It’s not that their records are awful, their rpi/net are also bottom tier.  The year Umbc beat uva we won fairly easily.
The “it takes two to tango” line is just that. When we suck we can’t get anyone. When we are average we can’t get anyone. When we are good we can’t get anyone.  Other schools do! What the hell are we doing wrong?!

hard to believe that we can’t get a 2 for 1 with a mod to upper tier a10 team. Every year our ooc schedule is a joke.  This was a year to schedule  tough
