Allie Kubek is becoming a star and had a career-high 28 points on 11-of-18 shooting (3-4 3pt) with 8 rebs, 2 steals, and 1 block. She can post and go left or right. She also can face and has a deadly 3-point shot at 6-foot-1.  "Peanut" Rivera with 20 points and three treys. They didn't need a big game from Aleah Nelson, who struggled shooting-wise (3-14), but had 10 dimes and six assists. Rayne Tucker had 11pts and 7 rebs against her former team. Kornegay-Lucas struggled with foul trouble and had just five points on 1-of-5 shooting, but did have eight rebounds and three assists in just 18 minutes.

Towson is not a tall team and while the refs let them play inside and called a million hand-check calls on the perimeter, they still need to do a better job of rebounding. Guards are leaking out some for the break and probably need to help with defensive boards (50-42 JMU advantage). Towson had just 10 turnovers, while Dukes turned it over 15 times in their last trip to SECU as a member of the CAA.

Aleah had an even tougher shooting night against Princeton (4-18). I hope this is just a brief slump.
