Had to re-write this but you can see from the stats that a big game on the ground with over 260 yards and no turnovers. We also forced no turnovers, but the speical teams was the difference. What a great game by D'Ago Hunter who had 334 total yards including a long punt return and kick return for a TD. He was great. Even Cole Cheripko scored on a trick play where he lined up under a different center (believe 61 Mathias) and ran it in from one yard.

More later.

Great offensive outburst, it's a shame it took 2 months before it showed up (against a really bad defense).  Pigrome has been relatively good this season....

Finally, an entertaining game. Was gonna say how bad Monmouth’s D is, but realized we surrendered 484 yards to an offense being run by a QB who had never taken a college snap before today. Thank goodness for Hunter. I suspect the performance by our offense today was fools gold, but, at least for one day, we had a dynamic offense

This is the best we have felt about the team in weeks! Our usually inept offense was looking like the ravens running the ball. No turnovers is definitely something to be proud of as well. Big confidence builder moving forward. Happy for our guys getting out of the slump, i don’t think my heart could have taken a 10 game losing streak. Really like how our kicker brings the energy, he’s a competitor. Thought he was gonna get a taunting penalty for waving goodbye after making the late field goal and proceeding to jump up and down with everyone on the sidelines. The red head has got some fire to him.

Great shootout of a game to start a nice new rivalry between towson and Monmouth. It’s close enough geographically and lots of towson students grew up in NY/NJ. Seeing that there stadium only sits 4,000 with a coordinated effort we could maybe fill 1/4 of their stadium with towson fans.

Do our guys have enough confidence to take down Villanova at home now? Stay tuned

Nice positivity for a win over monmouth, didn't know the hawks had a football prorgram. Playing with fire if upset the cats next week, last two games vs stony brook and hampton probably should be wins. Very scary to think what the administration will do if they see a 6-5 final record with 4 wins in a row to end the year.

Lol. We have issues getting 4K at our home games and you think we can get 1000 to a road game 3.5 hours away?

Nightmare scenario-we win the last 3 games, end the season with a winning record & a 4-game winning streak. Administration decides to give him a new contract. I’m going to put it out there-since we’re not going to the playoffs, is it blasphemy to want us not to run the table, if it means moving on from Ambrose?
