Skerry Frustrated by Close Losses from Hero Sports

That statement about  being the most successful in history is all relative. I first assumed that the writer was quoting that based on Skerry's overall winning percentage during his tenure here. Not sure about his predecessors before him with the exception of the guy everyone loved (PK)....

To show how tough it is.....my question is, as an example....Is Gary Williams the Most Successful co@ch at Maryland, sinc3 he won a national championship or is Lefty Driesell the most successful since he turned Maryland from a program in doldrums to national prominence. All depends on a point of view.

That’s easy. Gary is in the Basketball Hall of Fame and Lefty is not.

That’s the issue. Lefty should be....taking three teams to the NCAA.....turning dead meat into a National Power......but you are making my point. Lefty did the hard lifting and Gary won a national championship. That is what Skerry, who has done much hard lifting, needs to win a championship to be deemed the most successful.

Lefty should be in the Hall of Fame, but he's not. He's in the College Basketball Hall of Fame. Gary never had the talent that Lefty had. Pat Skerry may get into the Towson Hall of Fame one day but he'd be a lock if he made the NCAA's just once.

yeah i didn't mean to make a big deal of it, Skerry is doing just fine, it just seemed that the reporting was a little lazy.
