Coach Harper is very unconventional at times. Instead of hold for a last shot at the end of the quarter, her team might shoot with 12 seconds left. With nine seconds left in the third quarter, Alexia Nelson was trapped in the backcourt. Harper called her second timeout of the half. If Nelson coughed the ball up or was tied up, it’s Charleston ball and they might be down by just four points Instead, after the timeout, Towson pushed the ball up the floor and Anasia Staton hit a three at the buzzer.
