I'm here at the stadium for the last time this season. Big game for men's lax. If Hofstra beats Stony Brook, Towson will need to beat Delaware, but that game is later tonight. So this is basically a must-win game against a team that has already wrapped up first place. So while they aren't playing for much, the Blue Hens are the class of the CAA this season.

Great start. They miss two point-blank shots (great saves) and then commit two penalites on the way down. Towson never starts out well.

Delaware scores on the EMO, but Matt C. wins the face-off and scores to tie at 1-1.

Webber ties at 2-2. Long has not looked sharp so far in net.

Swain scores to make it 5-2 Towson after DeMaio and Weisshaar scored.

Towson up 6-3 after one quarter. Berkeley with a goal to go up 6-2 and then a late turnover by the third midfield was rough as the Hens scored on an incredible pass from Canaidian Tye Kurtz.

Towson up 7-4 with 11:33 left in the second quarter. Berkely with another goal. Long just made a nice high save. He has three.

Up 11-5 at the half. Great first half. Long was really on the high shots. He had seven saves.

DeMaio with three goals and four turnovers on nine shots

Wheels are falling off for a change. Now 11-7 as the Tigers are up to 15 turnovers on the game. DeMaio with 10 shots, 5 turnovers and 3 goals. Not all his fault. Defensemen also are losing it on clears too often.
