No one gets that’s kind of extension with such a poor track record, unless you are at Towson. And even here, it’s likely 4 years and a vesting option for a life team deal. League is a joke. All sports have gotten way worse under his watch. We deserve this for not being proactive and trying to compete in the wrong sports and are thus stuck here with the likes of Hampton. lightspeednate 4 Report post Posted July 10 (edited) So I guess this off-season has been relatively uneventful compared to the past few seasons (which can sometimes be a very positive thing in the CAA). It is not easy to go an off-season without a couple players transferring out or graduating and they’ve mostly avoided that. I guess the big question remains where does Charles Thompson’s 28.2 minutes per game go to? I guess Sulaimon, Jones and Lowery now all stand to be 20+ minutes per game players given that they’ve continued to improve from last season? Sadly yes those are the options we have to replace the toughest big man in the CAA the past few seasons. the true freshman might get some minutes but hopefully they have hit the weight room and are ready to brawl with the big boys. Skinny freshman might get thrown around. Not sure this team is gonna dominate the boards at will like last year.
