It is not last year's schedule, that's for sure!  Hofstra, Drexel and us are the only ones who don't play UNCW or Charleston twice. Granted we have them both on the road, and hopefully not back to back.  UNCW and Charleston both need to travel to the DAC and Mack, which are always tough places for teams to play.

Get the 4 closest teams to us Home and Home.

Here’s an example of a major program with a crappy home schedule. This is typical of what these programs are doing and they aren’t going to play a team that finished in the top 150 NET with 10 returning players.

Did we anger the scheduling office that they gave us Charleston and UNCW as road games only?  Probably a back-to-back trip too.  At least we don’t have to go to Hofstra.

I had the same thought. CofC and UNCW are probably the two toughest places to place in the conference.

statistically towson is a tough place to play, but maybe that’s because we can’t even pay people to come play us here

?? Not sure I understand the gripe, especially not knowing when the games are. Something tells me we will be in the Carolinas the last week of the season for what seems like the 10th straight season. Playing them twice instead of four times like last year, is beneficial for unbalanced schedule.  IF the two Carolina swings are in the same weeks, we could have only 3 flights total and 1 long bus ride (longer than 2.5 hours). Buies Creek to Burlington and or Wilmington is ~ 1 hour 45 minutes.

Hofstra, to me has the easiest potential schedule, again all relative at this point.

League did put an emphasis on the local-ish games which is a good thing.

exactly what I was going to say. COC and UNCW would be the only marquee conference home games at this point.

same thing with not getting Delaware in their final year in the conference for football. clearly, someone in CAA scheduling does not like us. hopefully it's because we are on the way out but that can't come soon enough IMO.
