So how hurt is Davis? It was interesting that the camera was clearly showing the man had a dead arm and no one in the commentary box noticed it. Oh and not sure what was going on with the telecast on flo but there was a ghost like image on everything moving in the camera shot. I tweeted flo and Towson athletics, it seemed to get cleared up about 10 mins after sending them a message.

Hey, welcome to the board Tiger Paw! When did you graduate or are you a current student or parent? I don't know exactly how hurt he is. It's his left shoulder so non-throwing. Not sure if they'll give details unless it's an out-for-the-season thing. If that's the case, we're in big trouble, but I don't think it's that bad. I'll give the guys (Spiro and Gordy) the benefit of the doubt since they were broadcasting on top of the press box and not in the normal spot. Yes, I watched the replay back and was not sure what that issue was either with a camera or the production or something with Monumental.

If most of the rest of the country was any indication, Week 2 was a week where teams had to do a little bit extra to get their bearings underneath them.  Look at all the home teams that struggled or even lost to what would be considered lesser competition -- Penn State, Alabama, Oklahoma, Florida State, Notre Dame, and so on.  Everyone was so hyped up to get their season underway in week 1 and then they come back in week 2 and it's a bit of a letdown.  From my ear's standpoint, it seemed like the penalties were the biggest issue with us last night.  Gotta get the discipline ironed out.  I know we put a lot of trust in the offensive line in those short yardage situations but what if there was a little trickery involved and had a bootleg/tight end option when everyone thinks the dive play is gonna get run?  The biggest encouragement comes from the defense's effort.  Other than that long TD run to start the 2nd half, they kept things under control and had to come up big when the offense couldn't muster anything.  Now if we can just keep those injuries at bay...

We only had six penalties (they had nine), but seemed to happen on our last two drives to stymie us. The Sam Reynolds offensive interference for blocking downfield before Davis threw it was devastating, because Carlos threw an incredible underhanded pass to Dunmore that went for 19 yards. Then there was Joden Nelson struggling with penalties in his first start. LT Jaelin Montgomery, in for the injured Dan Volpe, appeared to get tired in the end. Unfortunately, Davis was injured on one of those plays. I don't know how Davis played through that shoulder injury. He should have come off the field. Ralph Paige Jr. also goes WWE against the Morgan players and we lose 15 yards on what would have been at least 3 points (hopefully).

We lost that Cincinnati game and also lost OT/G Abraham Giwa, who was a starter at left tackle at Marist for the last two seasons. Massive LG Jean Germain (6-6, 335) gets hurt in the Cincy game as well. I think Germain could return for the Nova game. Volpe should be back as well. That's the downside of playing a P4 Big 12 in the opener.

My daughter graduated in '16. My account has been inactive for quite awhile, so I'm not new to the board but thanks for the welcome back.

Ralph Paige Jr took the term “backyard brawl” too literally. The battle for greater Baltimore was a battle of offenses who couldn’t turn drives into points. And teams that shot themselves in the foot with penalties too many times to have success.

hope Carlos and the O-line are healed up for Villanova this week. A healthy tigers squad should be able to hang with Nova. However, North Dakota State looks even better than Cincinnati. We better play up to our opponent in two weeks, but certainly can’t look past Villanova.

we need to beat nova to be 2-2. Otherwise it’s looking like a 1-3 start with the only win being an at home 5 point dub against lowly morgan state

would need to win out if we drop to 1-3
