Rough loss today, 11-10 in overtime. I've never seen anything like this game and I've watched lacrosse and covered it for nearly 30 years. Towson was up 5-1 in this one but they couldn't win a face-off, literally. They lost the first 11 to the great Trevor Baptiste. Then Baptiste scored two on his own and Woodall had three violations that led to penalties. Denver really scored four goals off of face-offs and at the end, had a chance to win off a violation and scored-but it was ruled after the buzzer. They still had the ball in overtime due to have a penalty for one second. Denver never gave it up and scored in overtime.

Matt Sovero two goals including one to tie it. Jake McLean with two goals. Shane Brennan was fantastic in net again. Jon Mazza was shutout today. They doubled him every time. Thought Chetner and Giuffreda played well in feeder roles. 

Oh well. It's all about the CAA and now they have to go up to Hofstra, who has been really up and down. Today they lost to St. John's on the road but we need Woodall to bounce back from this and come up big next week. They are playing much better no doubt and should be in decent shape going into Hofstra on the road next week.
