Strange half as Towson won just 6 of 14 face-offs. and Woodall has won just 2 of 8. Neither goaltender has been great though Brennan played better late in the half. He had five saves. Towson outshot the Dragons 19-17 and went 0-2 in EMOs, while Drexel went 1 of 4.

Heading into the third quarter, Towson up 9-6. TU has won just 7 of 18 face-offs and it's catching up. Also now with 8 turnovers, while Drexel has 13.

13-9 Towson. Just a crazy five minutes. Johnny G. just scored from Maloof to open up the lead after Drexel cut it to one.

Big win for the Tigers, 17-9 over Drexel. Now 1-1 in the CAA. Johnny G. with 5 goals on 8 shots. Obviously a career high.

Hofstra lost to Fairfield, so the league is still wide open for us. Any word on when/if Ewell/Mazza will be back?

No clue about Mazza and Ewell. I don't know about whether Ewell has made mistakes in the past but Mazza certainly has so who knows how Nads is going to keep him out. Maybe they don't need him but they certainly win in the conference tournament and same with Ewell. They basically have to play zone without Ewell. With Ewell, they have the best D in the league. Without him, they are just average, which is what they were last night. They allowed nine against Drexel and nine against Hofstra and that's not good for us.
