In the WaPo article, it sounds like he wants to go to a top academic school-he specifically mentions Bucknell, Delaware, Columbia & Yale as schools who have offered him, & that he’s interested in. Still, no harm in Skerry trying to woo him.

Might as well bring in a point guard and a combo guard with two ships left. If #13 leaves or somebody else they can go for another wing.

Next season at this moment

PG Dottin, Howard

SG Timberlake, Betrand

SF Fobbs, Drayton

PF Gray, Solomon, Charles Thompson

C Tunstall, Sanders

Or they can big with Dottin, Fobbs, Gray, Tunstall, Sanders (not the best ballhandling lineup)

They need to be on every 2019 point guard available from Virginia to Boston.

Wrong...from Maine to Florida!!!

A quality PG better be the top recruiting priority

From ANYWHERE!

But seriously its been 8 years.. maybe it isn't we can't find a point guard, but more so, the system we run isn't conducive to great point guard play?  Our sets are pretty slow developing and un-imaginary along with a lot of 1 on 1 ISO ball.  We typically don't space the floor well and have great shooters or even pass much in transition.  We also don't play players 34+ minutes a game like some other programs do. Not a complaint but just an observation...  We will not see a player average more than 3.5 assists under the current staff and style, just the way it is.

Well, I think it’s more that we haven’t had a quality PG, as opposed to it being a system issue. I thought Hairston played well as a freshman, and Frank Mason decommitted before he ever played a game here. But after that, who have we had that could legitimately be considered a quality PG?
