Geez, channel 11 just showed highlights of today’s game. How did #20 miss that put back on Fobbs’ miss? In all fairness, it shouldn’t have even come to that if Fobbs and/or Howard hit their foul shots

Because Solomon might actually make that shot, if he was in position. I just don't have a lot of faith in No. 20 right now. SU should be there late in games.

And to think they expected him to be a 12/8 guy.

Yeah, he should be. He was about 6 and 6 at Duquesne. No reason for him not to be at least 10 and 8 in a lesser league. Bu t I just don't see a motor. Lack of athleticism hurts him around the cup. He just doesn't explode to the basket with all that strength. Solomon does have that explosion and a better touch around the rim and from 10 feet out. NS missed about six in the paint tonight. At some point, you just have to realize he's Al without the defensive ability. A little better 3-point shot and to his credit, he's a lot better foul shooter than he was a Duquesne. so he worked on that but I don't see really anything else to be satisfied with his game.

As Mat noted in a different thread, CAA.tv has archives to check out.  CAA also has a Youtube site with highlights of games.  I watched the final play and I’m not gonna crush Sanders for missing that shot.  He’s at a tough angle and trying to gather plus get it off before the buzzer.  He’s not the greatest finisher as it is but without the chance to collect himself and go up, that shot was a lot more challenging.

Overall, it’s real tough when your two best foul shooters clank front ends.  We had seemed to have the FT situation under control until recently.  But, the team overall has gotten better.  They just show their inexperience at times, especially when playing with leads.

Just saw it. Yeah that was tough to gather and get off that quickly. Can’t blame him for that. We also got away with a couple of pushes in the back on that play

the backdoor defense. Yikes. And Charlestons reaction makes me hate them even more.  Maybe skerry told them it was cougs super bowl yesterday too haha

I think we are atleast seeing some growth that we had only HOPED for.

We all wanted to see improvement and we have for the most part.  4 conference wins.

7 games left.  I was giving our coach this season and the next to get us back on track.

16 games in and I’m more optimistic about some of the pieces in place.

I know we need shooters and higher 🏀 IQ players.

Be interesting to see how this all plays out.  Credit to our coaching staff for reading this board and hopefully understanding how bad we all want to win.

I truly understand all your frustrations.  I want it work out for Skerry and I want us in the big Dance before I die.

Hard to believe that being a below average team in a below average conference is improvement. How low have our standards gotten?
