New TV Deal for CAA

Recommended Posts

Being the dullard that I am, I’m not sure I’m connecting the dots here. Is this a sarcastic dig at the commish for looking like a middle aged doofus “practicing” with C of C, when he should be working on a tv deal?

I really don't understand teasing people. We desperately need a TV deal and the commish has dropped the ball. What's the point?

Yes it is.  He travels around and practices with all of the teams, hoops, soccer, softball, field hockey, football etc instead of getting a deal done. Nothing on espn 3/+ whatever they call it now a days

I was so tempted to respond to his tweet on Sunday when he was doing a photo shoot at the Northeastern/Towson WBB game and ask so when will you sign us up for a real TV deal.  He has done nothing for this conference.

I honestly agree. This should be a top 3 priority for him.

So sr16 what do you consider to be his other 2 priorities?

Partnerships with digital media outlets for CAA exposure

Tv Deal

Maintaining relationships / campus visits catering to needs of this members (which I suppose is what he's doing now)

Is there a TV deal for the conference championship?

The last couple of years, the championship game, was on CBS Sports.  Before that, Comcast/NBC Sports did Quarters-Finals.  I have DVR'd the last 2 years games, and they (along with N. Charleston) have done a great job with the tournament down there.

How about this year?
