Drayton is the First to Transfer - Any more??

As many predicted. Officially makes the Prophete, Ingram, Drayton recruiting class an unmitigated fail. Didn’t take long for Skerry to presumably have a “come to Jesus” talk with Drayton, who clearly wasn’t going to get any meaningful minutes here next season.

Now we have 3 open ships. Get a (quality) PG, a 2 guard who can actually shoot 3’s, & a 6’8 type who’s not a stiff. See how easy that is! All of our problems solved😆

Wonder if anyone else will depart? We’re now going to have a minimum of 6 new players next year (Thompson, Gray, Timberlake, for all intents & purposes, + the 3 open ships). Kinda good news/bad news. Good news would be if we bring in some quality players; bad news is the revolving door/lack of continuity. Also wonder if he’ll now use 1 of these ships on a grad transfer or a transfer who would have to sit out next year

Would't it be 4 open scholarships? Thomas, McNeil, Drayton, Yagzi.

It was the most obvious one, but there may be another coming..

Gray (the USD transfer who sat out this year) + Timberlake (who will be a R-Fr. next season) + Thompson (the early sign incoming freshman) + the now 3 open ships. That’s how I calculated 6 new players next season. It’s not 4 ships because Thompson has already filled 1 of the 4.

Ingram scored more than 8 points, didn’t he?

Drayton scored 20+ vs a D3 this year.

Your point is correct though; we cannot afford any swings & misses like those guys with the remaining open scholarships. We need HR’s not K’s

I don't count the sub D1 games. They are scrimmages.  But most of them do indeed belong at that level.
