Not surprising one bit.  It's Win or get canned at most schools.

To an extent.  He was apparently at Elon for 10 years and in the last 5 in the CAA had a winning record one single season. Elon simply has not even been competing (like Towson before PS).  :)

Not surprising. They have a new gym & had pretty weak attendance last season I believe. That would be attributable to the poor product on the floor. As bad as they were last season, their 5 top scorers from the season that just concluded have all departed by graduation or transfer. The leading scorer they return next season avg 5ppg this past season. The new coach will certainly have his work cut out for him, especially with getting a very late start on recruiting.

Guaranteed the new coach will be a great hire. The AD was the one Towson wanted to hire when Waddell eventually got the job. He is great!

Maybe when Mike Herman got the job. Not 100% sure which one, but at some point, he was a first choice.

Made a great football hire. Well hopefully great for them and will suck at jmu.

Also wm is apparently paying the buyout of tony via athletics funds and not private donations

I double checked. He has been at Elon 13 years, so he was the choice when Mike Herman got the job. I would keep an eye out on all Elon programs.

And now Bozeman is let go at Morgan...

"Bozeman finishes his tenure as Morgan State’s all-time winningest coach with a 195-218 overall record. His teams participated in six of the last 13 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Tournament championship games, delivered three regular season titles, captured back-to-back-MEAC titles, and appearance in the NCAA Tournament (2009 & 2010) and the National Invitation Tournament (2008)."

Crazy. 13 years and they fired him?! He just needed more time. They, like us, should just be happy with the little mediocre programs we have.
