mat1992 Posted February 10, 2020 Report Posted February 10, 2020 Steed could be the top recruit at least according to the rating system. Runs a 4.59 40. Good speed for the safety position. He's 5-11, 190 and a 3* who played in a tough league in Philly. I think he's a future starter. With good range as a free safety, ability to return punts and hands, he won't have to play right away with three starters returning in Tippett, SJ Brown and Jamal Gay. But he might be better. If he is, he should play. Forget the redshirt. Ubayd Steed – Safety – Neumann-Goretti H.S. – Philadelphia, Pa. Steed will join fellow Philadelphian Darian Bryant on the Tigers in 2020. Steed earned a place on the 2019 All-Catholic League First Team at defensive back, helping Neumann-Goretti to 11 victories and a place in the District 1/12 Class 3A state title game. Previous to his senior year, Steed led Northeast High to a trio of Public League 6A championships as a safety and running back. http://www.espn.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/player/_/id/238063/ubayd-steed http://www.hudl.com/v/2By3x0 3 Quote
