Hearing good things about the true freshmen running backs Kemarion Battles and JaVon Ford II. Really want to see freshman QB Andrew Indorf. Not sure he overtakes Nathan Kent (who probably will start), but he's in the mix. 2 Quote

Brown was more of a favorite of the previous OC Sheppard. Pete is now calling plays and most assume he's a Kent guy. However, the freshman is creeping up. Quote
mat1992 Posted August 5, 2025 Author Report Posted August 5, 2025 One new addition to the roster. NG Cam Matthews (6-0, 315) from Air Force and Fayetteville. Even though he's short, does have a 6-5 wingspan, Ga. Had offers from Rhode Island, Bryant, Weber State, Sacred Heart after the transfer. Has four years left. Bad news is that RB Ike Daniels left the team according to reports and is not on the roster. He was behind Wooten, JaVon Ford and Kemarrion Battles on the depth chart. Also depth is limited with just five backs on the roster. Quote
