MBB comes back (again) to beat Stony Brook 53-49

Post game interview with PS, Lowery and May was probably the most honest assessment of this team across the board all season long thus far.   
Sometimes it just all fits despite the stat lines and this team is 5-1 so I’m gonna sit back and enjoy the show.  
I would start LOWERY the rest of the way because of how impactful he is to a game. 
And Tyler please keep attacking inside..  only 41 free throw attempts and you are shooting 82%..  take advantage please!!!

gotta let the player who is playing the best that day play more minutes. Lots of plug and play assessing who’s hot and who’s not. Dwill, tejada, Lowery, embaya, and Tarke have been the best as of late

Yeah, the only thing with Embeya is that he's 2 steps forward, 1 step back, One step forward, 2 steps back. A moving screen, an offensive foul, a defensive foul with about 2 seconds on the shotclock. Then misses down low and doesn't go strong enough. Needs to go right at the rim and don't worry about contact. Or pump fake and go right up. I wish he had a jump hook or something. It makes it tough to play him late when he commits those fouls and gives you very little on O. Tarke didn't deserve even the minutes he got today. Took two terrible threes playing hero ball instead of going with what got him there. Drive and draw the foul (then make 1 of 2). PS decided to give most of the 2 and 3 man minutes to May today.

The was f’ing ugly. Not as bad of an offensive team as showed today but much closer to today than the 80 ppg. 

defense was pretty solid though stony is not good. Forced a lot of shot clock violations 

Burn the tape. Move on. Pray to whatever/whoever you believe in that they actually won. 

mascots put the ball in the hoop more than these two teams.

“It all fits”. What does? Honest assessment, this team doesn’t have the coaching and skills to put the ball in the bucket enough, 3/4 straight days.  Hell we have all but given up running OOB sets (the time we did, got an easy alley oop)

Regarding lowery, Geno really screwed up fouling him late.. the hack a lowery. However they thought it was 1 and 1 but already were in the double bonus.

5-1 in the CAA..  hasn’t been pretty however if you are student of college basketball history we’ve seen many teams play ugly and win.  10 players and yes all the parts are fitting now!  
Enjoy this run!  How can you not root for Pat and these players?  
They were left for dead in Canada.
