2026 Roster is up. No transfers again but didn't expect any

Based on the fall report, I think we'll see something similar to this depth chart in early February, but we'll have to see who they start in their first ex. game/scrimmage. Don't have a lot of size other than Villagomez on offense, who's 6-6, 225ish. Even defense is relatively-small other than 6-3 Elijah Smith.

Is nads simply not pursuing transfers or are they simply landing at other schools. It seems he rarely leverages the portal these days and it’s a shame as we have a few key pieces in place already

I'd take any transfers that can help. Go juco if you need help on the defensive midfield and at close defense. It's not like mid-majors don't grab a few and we lost four (none were major contributors). Would have liked to have seen a big midfielder or just an experienced one.

I know this is rare, but finally, there is a wrap up on recruiting for next season. For some reason, they rarely put one out because I guess that lax recruiting is year-round.

Schedule is still not out but they open with North Carolina on Feb. 1. They are waiting on one more school to get their ish together..

That's a very tough schedule. And I don't remember us starting so early before -- Feb. 1 has to be a first. (I miss the old days, when the season began the first weekend in March. Only Navy started in Feb. because of their exams/commissioning week activities in early May.)
