TuTigers2012 Posted January 8 Report Posted January 8 Skerry! I know there’s another thread here somewhere that I started years back but too lazy to find it. 15 years has been long enough. This team is a disaster and not good enough at any area of the game to overcompensate for the others. This was apparent the opening half of the first game against Loyola. Tejada and Williamson have gotten worse. Every transfer who comes in has been worse than their previous stops. This is also on coaching and recruiting. 3 times we have been picked to lead the conference? And 3 times feel flat on our faces though non as bad as this. we haven’t even played “da BIg DaWwgzz” yet 0-4 with two of them at home and haven’t even played uncw and Charleston hopefully DD stops trash talking their fans on twitter what excuse will be used? The “hard” schedule. The sniffles. Not having money like Charleston and uncw? No fan support? Not enough time? The Program was a mess before? All null and void. After this awful season Pat needs to be fired. Would need to go 14-0 in the next 14 to hit that magical number for 20 Wins that our fan base touts 1 Quote

We have an AD who seems to be doing a boffo job raising funds, and may be content that MBB is “competitive.” He also prays at the altar of contract extensions. We have a school president who’s a nice guy, but who knows if he also isn’t satisfied with MBB being “competitive.” We have a HC who refuses to change his philosophy and continues to recruit workout warriors who lack basketball skills. Add these ingredients together, and this is what you get. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. I dare say our MBB program is insane Quote

AtlantaTiger Posted January 9 Report Posted January 9 I’ll ask again, how many of us are willing to draft an email to Eigenbrot (with President Ginsberg Cc’d) voicing our extreme displeasure and complete lack of confidence in Pat Skerry and the recent state of the men’s basketball team? I fully understand nothing will likely come of it. Skerry is unfortunately not going anywhere any time soon. The point is that if 10-15 grumpy emails hit Eigenbrot’s inbox on the same day/week all expressing the same sentiment that Skerry is inept, and that he (Eigenbrot) appears to be asleep at the wheel and seemingly content with mediocrity after FIFTEEN YEARS, perhaps we can at least let them know people who actually care about TU athletics are beyond disgusted.
