I wonder if he’ll continue to start Coleman, Conway and Seck? It’s no wonder we get off to slow starts. Why not start your best 5 of TT, DWill, Doumbia, Womack and Embeya (who can’t score, but can rebound). I mean, the tournament is now upon us

Doumbia should start in the tournament. I'm fine with Coleman because Womack ain't ready for the start but he might be for the finish. Also, he's never played in a tournament before though neither has Coleman (maybe a minute or two?). Seck and Embeya are whatever. Embeya can at least rebound.

I guess it's important to be playing your best basketball at this time of the year, but I'm not convinced we can do much more than beat Hampton. Win on Sunday and I'll be there on Monday. I've seen so many bad performances in the second game. We usually win the first.  We need more than just DWill to go off in another second half. We need a minimum of 45 from JDJ, DWIll and Tejada. If Womack's coming-out party was tonight, hopefully he can give us 12 and 6 because you're not going to get much from the "others".

I’ll in Vegas Sunday evening hoping to bet on Towson come Monday in those dreaded semifinals 🤞🐯🏀

They now have 3 days to prepare and more importantly rest them legs for what will likely be a tightened 7 man rotation rest of the way (Seck/Ndefo = 1 player).  I don’t want to see much of Conway or Schmidt unless we have an out of bounds late in a half and need a shooter.

Tejada did not play last time around vs Hampton.  DWill has to be stellar every game rest of the way.  And we need some points Saturday night from Coleman.

I wanted to add just one other thing. I know it's not a big man's game anymore and I'd certainly like to have at least two "killer guards" next season from the portal, assuming DWill is gone. But adding a big man with hands and some back-to-the-basket ability is a must. It gives you an option when the jump shots aren't falling. Tonight, we had just 10 assists, but when you look at some of the passes in the post, they were either dropped by Embeya or Seck missed four point-blank hook shots from 6 feet or less.
