I’ve been the one saying bring in a Euro but after speaking with Santa Clara fans who lets face bought Herb Sendak a team (decent coach) but they spent way more than Gonzaga & Saint Mary’s. We can’t afford most of them. This Sash Gavalyugov from Bulgaria got big $$ I think Cole was a NBA Global Academy player via Mexico? Of course didn’t work out. We have to scout better but we gotta take a chunk of the funds and get a skilled big man. David Fuchs here at San Francisco was a good get but he got paid big money. I assume you'll see mostly JUCO, D2, and D3 players until April 7. The window was 30 days last season, so now it's 15 like football. Means there will be thousands of players entering the portal for 2 weeks and many of them not finding a home. We'll have money. A lot depends on what Tejada and DWill do. I assume Tyler is gone to get a good-sized bag, probably close to 2x what he got this season. Not sure about DWill. If both leave, we should have around a million to spend, depending on Womack and Embeya. I assume both will return, but not 100%. If we don't have at least 4 transfers, we're effed next season with 6 freshmen on the roster. Quote
