See Matt this is how you loose recruits when you got 3 RB that you are using and average about 2 yards a carry and you got two big backs you haven't even tried kids see that then all of a sudden Towson gets the reputation of being dream killer university and like I said I am a coach many college coach pass through my school.i tried to be nice about it but like I said I am a coach and everybody talks since you are an insider Matt change the culture and help the team and it's not just about the RB position it's about all the positions when guys go down you haven't built no back ups with quality skills then the excuse becomes if we had this guy or that guy.see when you build a program instead of a team you get what you got at JMU first year coach win championship with players he didn't even recruit its the program that has been built

One thing for damn sure at 230 arm tackle not going to bring him down David Bryant big also that's part of the problem always talking about bringing in kids but want use what you got .

They got a big back scott had an hell of a spring strongest one on the team beast in the weigh room but somebody must got something personal against the kid because he can help the running game now he'll cant do no worse

I like your passion for Towson Matt your program can change for the better with the same staff they just gotta stop being so stubborn and get the most out of what they got

Ok who is working them how much film study are they getting.D-1 QB the QB coach basically becomes joined at the hip with the player . Coaching on the D-1 level football becomes your life how much time are they putting in with the QB how many nights has anyone spent in the field house getting ready for a game.the coaches got to set the standards on being dedicated to the program.just looking the part don't win games

Until the staff change there arrogant ways nothing will change for Towson and it is sad because the potential is there with the players

One thing I want to give you all credit for you'll are passionate about the team and that is great

If I am the coaching staff I would spend the rest of the season still trying to win but evaluating my team. See who can help me moving on in all position

It is good to mix some transfers but you can't build your program focusing on transfers spend the time on building the players you have recruited from day one.if you gonna get transfers QB makes since because good ones are so hard to come by on every level

Outside of Maryland the talent has been fairly even no team outside of Maryland that Towson has played this far has had talent head over heels better then Towson Richmond turned the ball over today just like Towson did the QB for Richmond was the difference for Richmond when Towson blitz they got great pressure on him but they didn't stick with it why Richmond came in averaging 40 a game Towson held them to 23 really Towson is not bad as it looks . But the coaching as I have said before stubborn and arrogant and I really think the other coaches have voices that they are afraid to use because of there jobs

Who said anything about ether one of those guys you missed the whole point of what I said therefore your program will always be what it is

I don't either Matt much respect to you but I am always gonna be honest with my opinion I wish Towson nothing but the best but as a coach you should not let ego and stubbornness cause your team to not do as well as they could you got talent coach it train it motivate it.looking for the next great recruit doesn't make a team

No it's not being negative it's about being truthful.sometimes the truth hurts as a coach I have seen good players fall into bad hands and the fact is Towson needs to change there ways so don't take what I say personal I have no power at Towson and every recruit has to follow there own path but don't pretend there isn't a problem at Towson

I agree with the stats numbers don't lie.people keep asking about Morgan I hope the young man is ok but the future is stover at QB build on him you got 4 years left really develope him don't keep switching by time this guy is jr or sr you my have what you need.not taking nothing from Morgan or Shane because they both are good players but they showed out against 4 bad teams that Towson beat Shane may be playing on Sundays one day but he is going to half to stay under 200 pounds if he going to be effective for the team his body not ment to carry the weight he is carrying which leads to injury in a nut shell no your personal get the best out of them by putting them in good situation on the field as a coach that's what you do.you have receivers that are fast on the team don't focus on the speed focus on running good routes.Be a coach teach that's the job and wins will come

The more and more I am in this forum I am starting to see that the only young men that get a shot is the ones that are liked.they have used 4 RB all of them together through 5 games don't have 350 yards.the line is not blocking so that's the problem maybe but they do enough to have more of a running game then that.no running game equals no passing.lets get right to it bad play calling slow making adjustments give the players something to work with.change personal around get a look from other players evaluate.you don't know who can play if you don't try them.i can tell you this much from what I have seen so far nothing has been impressive.give james scott and David Bryant a chance to help the back field if nothing else they can soften the defense.give the little 3rd string QB a few snaps see what he can do you might just find a gemstone but if you don't evaluate in reel time you want know

Interesting info but like I have said before if some of the players not getting it done when you going to try other players.at this point I don't think anyone else can do any worse try scott try Bryant try different lineman combinations.i had said onetime before if your time is not willing to run through a brick wall for the staff there needs to be a change I like to be positive but at this point Rhode Island and William and Mary are the only teams I think we will beat

I give Towson much credit for this it's a very good look for the athletic department

One thing for sure anything you try now can be no worse.give the big backs a chance nothing to lose at this point try some different linemen rotations see who can play at this point evaluate

The rest of the season is going to be tuff if you can't capitalize on a team that lost there starting QB to get a win it's going to be tuff by the way if the starting QB don't get knocked out of the game the probably would have put up at least 40 on towson he was good you gotta capitalize on things that happen like that didn't want to see the kid hurt but when a team loses there general you gotta smell blood
