Been looking at some stats on the other caa teams it seems and looks like all the teams have gotten a little better then last season of course it is still early

That would be devastating to the program

Hopefully whatever it is not to bad

This is the last game before conference play.make the adjustments now motivate the team to do there jobs or else play somebody that can get the job done . Coaches be accountable to put your best game plan and personal on the field.let this Saturday game be the first game of the season and go from here.win win win

No I am not his dad for the second time he played in the 757 were I coach.there are also 3 other guys on that team that I coach against fenner,upshaw and jones before that Darnell Lewis , Andre dessenberg and I could go on and on about all the players I have coach against or work with in camp or 7 on 7 . I support and follow all of them see when we send players out of the state we don't forget about them 757

Score 63 to17 anybody you had on the Towson sideline that you thought you might wanted to take a look at that might could help the team going on they should have been played unless you were redshirt them anyway.its a team it's a program build it not for just one season but every season

So why not use scott had a great spring bench 450 squat over 500 strongest one on the team I am sure he can soften up the defense. Unless it's personal!!! One thing for sure can't do no worse he killing the first team defense in practice.speaking from a coaches stand point a lot of decisions are beyond my understanding if you trying to win see what the guys got at this point if it doesn't work you know were you stand.

A lot of good points but if they don't find a way to bring it all together against St Francis it's going to be a long season.question for you Matt if there going to try to run up the middle why they not using David Bryant since he is a bigger back. I am not even going to mention James scott.but I do know this they used 3 different backs in both games nothing going you can blame the line but you still gotta have the ability to make something happen .shane is great all purpose guy but up the middle 180 pounds not happen unless you are Vito and he was 225

One thing dangerous about teams like them is that they tend to have a us against the world attitude which makes them very competitive.

Yeah I think it is going to be a battle but Towson really needs to pull this one out.would like to see 2-1 going into conference play.

From a coaching stand point talent injuries play calling you can put all that in the equation.but at the end of the day motivate these young men to do there job.as I said onetime before in this room x and o are the same.you can have 5 star guys all over the field but if you can't motivate them to just do there job.some teams just come straight at you nothing fancy and still win don't make it complicated for these young guys just sell them on doing there job at all cost

Even though the defense wasn't good they are still further along then the offense.thats why so much talk on the running game at least from my stand point.defence is going to be ok in the caa but just ok .

The 3 RB they are good with Sampson being the best.but you can't run inside plays with any of them.99 yards on the ground QB had the most yards today.last week they had less then that.seems like very few teams like power backs that run north and south anymore every program should have a power guy to soften the defense up for the small fast guy.

The Stover is young in the system the mistake he made is what expect playing against a big 10 team .he is only a game and a half into his career.what worries me is the offense is very pass heavy every team on every level needs a running. I coach on a high school level the running game takes so much pressure off young QB

I agree stover handle the situation he was in well.gotta some how get the running game going perhaps try a power back once in a while they got one if they use him.defensive line is good I like what I see from them

When players get hurt or injured as a coach you should shield and protect there info at any level.

Until you get the 0-line right no matter who is at QB it's going to be tuff going.the RB are not the between the tackle type they need space so I don't know how much the running game can help the QB

Could be a game that the young man does so well he becomes the starter.if that does happen all of a sudden the future looks great

Towson has everything to gain Maryland has everything to lose. Would love to see Towson upset Maryland.

There were some upsets this weekend Howard vs Unlv . Jmu vs Ecu could be Towson over Maryland this weekend Towson would damn near half to play a perfect game but it could happen and before anybody ask I am not be funny

Next week against Maryland try to control the clock keep the game slow.keep it on the ground and try to convert first downs the longer Towson can keep the ball out of Marylands hands the better

I am not a D-1 coach but I am a coach as coaches we sometimes make bad decisions the key is to own that bad decision . It was a bad decision to throw a pass at that point and time of the game. It was wet and the ball was slippery and the call that should have been made was to keep the ball on the ground and tell the running backs to cover the ball and hold on too it at all cost let the clock run down it was 2 min and 52 seconds on the clock.since they were stacking the box go trips left or right and run out of that.they could not have stack the box in that formation.As coaches we sometimes can out think ourselves.
