  1. I never took offense to any negative feedback on AP and was hoping for a better season for these great group that they have this year. Maybe it was play calling or just plain bad luck but to all the parents on this board including myself should be super proud of your kids they left it all on the field and the main goal is to get that degree so nothing to be ashamed of. AP is finishing his degree here at TU so I’m super proud of him even though he’s not on the team anymore. Great success and future for these kids. Cheers parents.

Sorry that you don’t have a better response. After another missed playoff season.. atlleast reveal your identity.  Rob, Melissa. Jared , Gus another one or the failed coaches. Suspense is killing us!

We feel sorry for your bro. Don’t worry your fiend the 3rd string tight end is still good in our books

    Definitely a coach lol.

The defense gave up 38 points and 500 yards that game. That along with a boneheaded decision to go for it on the first drive cost that game.
Do we know what happened with him for that game?? I know the odu game he was benched. And you all know I hate rob but it shows a lot for a coach to do that to their best player. Kudos to him for that.

but the fact is that he hasn’t won anything in close to a decade since Terrance left and yet we still have people here defending him tooth and nail. I don’t know how the old timers and ex players can keep doing so. Don’t you want the program to get better? It’s gotten worse over the past couple of years

I for one want better for this program and I’m going not going to bash Rob anymore because everyone already knows I feel about him a change is definitely long overdue season is pretty much done so the AD and above need to really open there eyes and see that a change is needed not just at the head coach position. A change will give a spark to this program like it did when Rob first came in as head coach for TU it’s something that needs to happen. Let’s just keep supporting  the players for the reason of the season.

Other teams don’t have experience but somehow execute better.  Appreciate the parent point of view. It’s good see the non kiss robs ass  24/7 folks out there.  Is he the worst coach on football?  No.   Is he a pitiful coach and overstayed his welcome? You betcha.
Wish your son the best. He was and would be a nicr role player at an average fcs team. Getting a degree for nothing out of your pocket is fantastic.

Appreciate that you will see Adrian next year at a more than average program can’t spill the beans yet. What would bother me is if he is successful at this other school as a TU grad student TU would somehow want some kind of credit for his success lol.

I don’t know. Seemed to do well with Less skilled skill players. It is early (kind of). But isn’t this a huge and older line?  Why are we having issues running?

Let’s see maybe not enough experience in our running system of plays. Howard has experience but looks like he hasn’t grasped the playbook fully yet and the o-line could do a better job blocking upfront for the run. Some of it is also play calling from Rob. Also Adrian would have been a great help in the run game since he has experience and ran hard and was consistent.

It now runs through the end of next season. You can be sure opposing coaches are telling HS kids we are trying to recruit that RA is a lame duck, and if they come to Towson, they might be out in the cold once a new coach takes over. So, expect a ton more disappointing/underperforming transfers next season. Or maybe we’ll just give RA a contract extension 😳

Dude preach to the choir lol when Adrian left the program to the portal (which he is not in anymore 🤫) some of his highschool buddies reached out to him about the program and asked about Rob Ambrose. All that conversation reverts back to the moco schools kids talk and want to play for a coach that give a sh$t about his players. Just like I always have preached about this program they don’t develop there incoming freshman players to be great college football players by the time there juniors or seniors and I thought maybe it was the program but it’s not it’s this damn head coach that needs to go.

  7. On a positive note to Adrian Platt he will complete his degree at TU and play next fall at some other school as a grad transfer tough to not be able to go to see him play at TU but everything happens for a reason. Wishing TU players this fall a successful season. 🍻

Conjecture? Lol. My basis for the statement is off facts.  The coach is 66-64 in 11 years. That is an average record of 6-5.82..

Since the championship appearance (which was awesome! That was a great team, filled with transfers, some upper classmen and some players who luckily fell into their lap) they are 34-35 with 0 playoff wins. A trip to the championship and really good 3 year run should yield better results within a program that had little staff turnover.

I never said that we weren’t under disadvantages many years ago.. I remember those with hoops and even eating at the glen with the football team  and talking to Gordy prior to a game. That’s just a bad recipe.  But it’s been years and the excuse of not having facilities, academic support and admin support is old and overdone.

Every team in the caa, sans uri and Delaware , has won a playoff game since we have. Not exactly a great stat to have.

I get that you’re a player or parent or friend of a player and appreciate your optimism and enthusiasm. Hopefully you or your friend plays a lot this year and leads us to the playoffs

This ☝️ Sounds like a coach to me lol.

FloSports signed a $4.5 million deal with the CAA for four years. I doubt ESPN would give the CAA anywhere near that sum.

Was it a money grab? Sure. What does FloSports really do other than stream and put the scores up. The responsibility for the broadcasts still lies mainly with the schools. The cost has come down, but they should charge about $20 per season.

Hello everyone I know I’m not active on here anymore but I agree with everyone Flosports was the worst decision the CAA could have done for the success of the conference and exposure for theses student athletes. The CAA is suppose to be the SEC of the FCS the top FCS conference most competitive and FCS conference feared to be scheduled by FBS opponents. So why are is the CAA making deals with flosports just doesn’t make sense to me. ESPN+ local broadcasting makes the most sense for the conference and exposure for these kids.

  10. This is my last post on this forum I would like to thank everyone on here that have been super supportive of Adrian on here and at Towson. As a parent it’s hard to see your kid not get to his full potential at a football program very disappointed with the coaching staff at Towson they let a local Maryland kid with a Full walk. Like I said before they don’t develop there in house players that they recruit as freshman. The program needs major restructuring at the top. There definitely losing a good one. But there u have it I said my piece and can’t wait to see Adrian play in the fall. So long Everyone..
