Do the women have a shot at an at large bid to the tournament?  They have some really nice wins.  PSU and Florida I believe and are ranked in the top 10.

If I remember correctly, Drenner, Adams, and Seider were all top 100 players but weren’t recruited by the blue bloods probably because they didn’t come from a private school.  I think the recruiting has fallen off a bit trying to get that diamond in rough...public school kid with a chip on his shoulder.  I don’t know if we’ll ever get the Boys Latin or Calvert Hall studs but I think we’ve missed on a lot of the elite public school kids in MD.

Nads is one coach I don’t worry about.  He’ll get it right.

Heard on the radio this morning that Dion Wiley is transferring from UMD.  Any mutual interest there?

My biggest issue is that the students sit until maybe 2 minutes left if it’s a close game.  I’m not sure how you can force them to stand or if you can remove the bleacher seats in that area to make it more of an incline bowl but that’s pretty embarassing.  I was part of Tunit years ago and we stood and that was in the Towson Center and there were only 5 of us.

Students can build the energy in the building.

Do you think anyone is going around their office bragging that their alma mater  Towson beat Morgan or Coppin, or even Loyola?  I go to more games than probably 99% of alums and I don’t care.  I want TL to brag about wining the CAA and going to the tournament for men’s b-ball.  I just goes to show that he doesn’t understand what will draw fans.  Either tons of free stuff for students or winning/tourney appearances for alums.  Period.

This coming from someone who supported Pat Kennedy until the bitter end and now wants to use that disaster as a baseline for how far we’ve come.  

Using our history with Morgan State and Loyola just goes to show how out of touch TL is as no one cares about those games.

My opinion is that you drop football completely and sink that money into the other sports.  Focus on men’s lacrosse and basketball.  I don’t care if we win 30 CAA titles in volleyball.  NO ONE CARES. 

Stayed for the first half.  Wasn’t impressed at all with the UMD transfer.  Wears the same # as Drenner but no where near the player.

What happened to Johnson?  Was this the WR that won the Randy Moss award that was converted to a LB?

For those of us who watched it on TV, could they show the salad dressing commercial one more time?!?! Holy smokes.  What a terrible broadcast.  The sideline reporter was hot though.
