While I was at Towson (1992-1996) he was my faculty advisor and had him as my professor for Coaching 101 or whatever the class was called. At the time he was also working as an advanced scout for Bobby Beathard with the Chargers. While he had no idea of what classes I needed to graduate, we just sat in his office and he told me all of these great old stories about Dave Meggett, Sean Landeta and others. RIP!

UML HC Pat Duquette is the brother of former O’s GM Jim Duquette. I believe he was Billy Coen’s Associate HC at Northeastern before this.

Was a freshman with Blalock, Moody and The Chief. Lived with them in the towers, ate meals with them and had classes with all of them. I know Ralph had a long career in England and Quintin owns a successful auto detailing business. Anyone know what Stevie is up to? -

Get to see the tigers twice on Long Island, if they allow in fans.

IMHO, what they are saying is that one weekend Towson will play @ JMU twice on say Friday and Saturday. The next week will be two home games on Friday and Saturday against Elon. So instead of each team home and away, we'll play 4 teams at home twice, 4 teams away twice and maybe one team home and home. Does that make sense? Would cut down on travel and exposure.

I believe in the early 1990's you couldn't practice until Nov. 1 (midnight madness was always on Halloween) and the regular season couldn't start until December 1, with the exception of the pre-season tourneys.

Practice squad expanded to 16 this season and each team can use 6 of those spots to sign veterans.

Towson Refunding Prorated Athletic Fee

The whole University business model is a house of cards; not just Towson, but most state universities. They need the residential fees and out of state tuition to keep afloat. I can see massive layoffs and maybe even elimination of athletics if on-campus housing are shut for the semester. NY Tech (private) has already cancelled atheletics thru the 2022 school year. -

LIU now has FCS football, Division 1 Lax on Long Island and basketball in Brooklyn, would be a nice addition.

I do think Dottin, Gibson and Timberlake are all gamers. If they continue to grow their games and stay together, I’ll go to war with those guys.

Since we joined the CAA has the #1 seed not made the final game? Seems like our tourney hasn’t had the crazy upsets that other mid-major tourneys seem to have every year.
