  1. They continue to find a way to find a way! 10 straight is the longest since the early 90s teams??
  2. Dragons and stripes not giving us any help so far today against white hot uncw
  3. Copy and paste SID?!? this will be the toughest game since the streak began. They are very good at home and have LOTS of size and 2 really good scorers and a junkyard dog who does it all. (Playing with a mask). can’t foul them and need may tarke lowery to bring the defense. A big giving any type of productive minutes would be nice.
  4. I’d agree to that. Also meant that we are in the lower end of teams in ncaa in FT attempts. 17.3 a game is 281st.
  5. WM does just that. They do it VERY well at home. On the road, different story. Towson Tigers: Results, Picks, Power Rankings, Odds & Stats on TeamRankings.com Here. Fun site. D1 games only.
  6. Update??
  7. Got to give them credit for winning these games. As you said, in the past we would find ways to lose these. Not sure this style will be conducive to winning 3 in 3. They are such a statistical anomaly. score and give up 66.8 PPG. One of the worst assist teams in the country. Play at one of the slowest tempos. Rank top 20 in "luck" (Has Towson athletics ever been considered LUCKY?!) One of the worst shooting teams (from the line and at 2') in the country. Average #'s in defense. One of the worst teams in the country at getting fouled. Very good at not turning the ball over (but playing slow and ISO ball aids that). Most interesting number is we allow 33 points in the second half of games, which is 13th in the COUNTRY. They also score 3.5 points more in the second half to first half, which shows adjustments are being made. Just a very odd team statistically wise.
  8. Embeya Samb. Jones. Suliman Tejada combine for 3 defensive rebounds. Need more from your tallest players. please press, we need all the ways buckets we can get
  9. They should change the wording in their shooting shirts to “find a way, to find a way” Finding a way to win the positive. They have come up calm and clutch since that debacle in Moon Township. rebounding, defense, shot making (especially down low) need to improve mightily. Can they play better? More than likely. Top 5 teams in league are separated. Tough stretch to finish this out
  10. 1-3 against the other top 25 times. I think we were in the top 15 of that poll to begin the season..
  11. Octave and Frey, who each scored 16 against us a few weeks ago, have both missed the last few games. Looking at the rest of the road games, they are tough. Need to take this one.
  12. Good listen. and valid points
  13. Their pressure and three point shooting is going to cause major issues for us. The game being played here, rather than down there is key. Yeah right. That will never happen. That is how it's supposed to be...
  14. Besides not being accessible by car from Maryland, Denver isn't a bad location to go to.
  15. Wm plays like PK Charleston’s teams. High tempo. Lots of threes. 11+ deep.
  16. Collier, wms best player, looks to just have torn his Achilles 6 minutes into the game
  17. Charleston can't beat UNCW. UNCW can't beat Towson. Towson can't beat Charleston.
  18. Tough week. Lots of night point totals Let’s not foul any of their top 3 players. 83% and have made a combined 24 left than the entire Towson roster
  19. So 8 straight wins equals the longest streak Towson has had under Skerry. Won 8 in a row against D1 teams the year we started hot, got an extenstion and then stunk it up the rest of the way. The year we won the regular season, the conclusion on the Delaware game would have been win 7 of 8, so not sure when that game counts. If not, then this is the longest streak since the early/mid 90s?
  20. Who do we want tonight? Tribe or Cougars?
  21. Ooof. This one might have been uglier than Stony. This team is playing with fire and gonna get burnt sooner than later. They have found ways to win and should be commended for that. Caa has a lot of mediocrity and we have taken advantage of it. Finding different ways to win. this Team is majorly flawed which again will prevent them from winning the conference or even making the finals. Get the 18 wins and everyone is happy life goes on outside of the only 3 players on this roster capable of putting up 10+, they need 20-24 a game from the remaining 6 guys to win when it counts. There are guys who are solid defenders and I’m sure good people but they can’t score. It’s like playing 3/4 on 5 most of the game. Williamson and Tejada are some of the best scorers to come through the program but you can’t ask them for 40+ a night, every game. 2-0?? Monmouth is a good home team. I think we should have 3 on 3 game instead with bashir durr and collins against tejada Williamson and lowery.
  22. 118.5?!? Where the heck did you get that?
  23. Wichita?!? 😆 Keep them Coming
  24. Big game. Tv. Student back. Should be a good crowd. Please don’t SOT this one!
  25. No one saw this coming. Winning on the road is huge. Happy ride back down 95 after seeing that one last night. When Tarke chucked up that ill advised three with just over 3 minutes left, it was not looking good. Williamson cold blooded. And the defense was good enough down the stretch. It is nice to finally see us play well late in games, this season. We are usually on the other side of these outcomes. The amount of different ways they have won games recently should be applauded. The staff seem to be pushing all the right buttons right now. No offense to them, they might not be the most talented group to come through campus, but they have been finishing games since that epic collapse in suburban Pittsburgh. Getting not much offensive production from the bigs, but still winning. Tarke playing within himself (for most of the game) is the major difference in this turnaround. He has done a much better job finishing at the rim especially going to his off hand,
